Meet Deanna Brown

Deanna is a proud Army Veteran working in the field of counseling since 2015. Prior to becoming a therapist, she earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education. She has experience working with combat veterans, CPS, couples, children, families, LGBTQ community, supervised new therapists, and a prior director of a psychiatric hospital.

Deanna uses the Gottman approach for couples. This approach has over 20 plus years of founded research behind it. She enjoys art and Motivational Interviewing, CBT and DBT for teens, and is trauma informed for adults. Deanna understands every client is different and unique, therefore she uses a wide range of modalities to fit the needs of those she serves.

She really enjoys working with first responders and training new therapists.  Deanna is an author of the book, "Meeting My Therapist" which was written and intended to normalize therapy for families.  She is currently working on her next book.  You can find the book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Walmart, Target, and Book Baby online to purchase as well it is available in our office.

Her approach is nonjudgmental, caring, and compassionate therapy. Deanna believes no one gets to define who you are unless you let them and she looks forward to working alongside you in the journey of healing, hope, and recovery.
