About Roger Hoeschen

Roger Hoeschen received his master’s degree in Psychology from Brandman University in 2019. He has been working in community mental health for the past 4 years where he had the privilege to work with a diverse population of clients. He worked with individuals on a variety of issues to include anxiety, ADHD, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, trauma, grief, and suicidal thoughts.


He is enthusiastic about implementing creative techniques to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals, make meaning, improve their relationships, find empowerment, and engage in self-understanding and discovery. His theoretical approach to clients is person-centered and humanistic, paired with eclectic.

Interventions including dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relational-cultural therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and existential techniques.


When he is  not in the office, he can typically be at his home with my family, hiking, fishing, or behind his camera taking photographs.
