About Xyolanda Langston

Xyolanda Yvonne Langston is fully licensed as a Mental Health Counselor. She is a proud US ARMY Veteran and enjoys working with first responders. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Martin University, Lacey WA and graduated in 2014. She obtained her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology from Alabama A & amp; M University, Normal. AL, in 2017.  During her internship, she worked with autism and behavioral issues at Glenwood Autisms and Behavioral Center from May 2016-May 2017. 


She continued her counseling experience with private practice community based and worked for behavioral health company that was school based for 1.5 years. She also has experience working for Multicare Health system from Jan 2019-2022 as a therapist with women, kids, and families. After that she worked at RI international as supervising crisis worker for adults specializing in clients who are in crisis and have severe mental illnesses.


She enjoys working with and specializes in depression, trauma, anxiety, first

responders, and complex PTSD.   She enjoys all ages of children, adults, couples, and families.  Xylonda’s preferred approach to therapy and treatment of clients is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman for couples, Emotionally Focused Therapy, play therapy, sand tray, Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy and TFCBT and LGBTQ + groups, complex trauma, individuals, and families.
