Meet Michael
Michael is pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Louisiana State University. He provides individual psychotherapy and supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration. His background includes clinical experience in a Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program, where he facilitated mindfulness-based, DBT-informed, and creative expression therapy groups, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds.
As a queer and neurodivergent clinician-in-training, Michael brings an affirming, collaborative, and deeply client-centered style to his work. He believes therapy should feel safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering, helping create an environment where clients can show up authentically and explore what matters most to them. His mission is to help clients understand their stories, strengthen their internal resources, and build meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that respects their lived experience.
Michael loves animals (especially cats!) and when not working, enjoys spending time with family, playing video games, and staying physically active.
