About Aleksandra Cherednichenko 

I have been a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner working in transplant surgery since 2022 but prior to that I have spent almost a decade of my life working in critical care at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, OR. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Family Practice from Maryville University in 2022 and shortly after began my role as a surgical NP at the Portland VA Medical Center.

I have pivoted into other roles throughout my nursing career including into an allergy and immunology specialty and pediatric and adolescent outpatient mental health. My broad experience within the nursing field has helped me become a better clinician with a wider point of view. Today, my patient population is fairly niche but very complex, as many of the veterans I treat not only require complex surgical care but also collaborative mental health care due to conditions like PTSD, depression and trauma.
