About Aline Aguirre

Aline Aguirre is a dedicated youth advocate and child development specialist committed to fostering growth, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging in young people. Aline holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child Learning & Development, and is currently

completing her Master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology. As a former educator and a current youth organizer with the Latino Community Fund of Washington, they bring over five years of rich, hands-on experience developing culturally sustaining programs for youth and young adults aged 14 to 24.

Aline specializes in supporting bicultural youth, Spanish-speaking individuals, and children of immigrants as they navigate identity, self-confidence, and life transitions. Certified in Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid, she utilizes a trauma-informed, harm-reduction lens to support individuals through mental health crises. Aline’s background includes creating robust, culturally relevant educational curricula designed to empower young people, celebrate their unique heritage, and strengthen their leadership capacity. At Thoughtful Counseling Group, Aline aims to provide compassionate, collaborative psychotherapy tailored to adolescents and young adults, helping them build the tools they need to thrive.
