About Jake Senn
Jake Senn is a grad student pursuing his Master of Social Work degree at Eastern University. He has a background in comparative religion and nearly a decade of experience teaching meditation, mindfulness, and body-based practices, including training in clinical hypnotherapy and qigong. He's especially drawn to integrative and somatic approaches to healing. He is especially excited to join Thoughtful Counseling Group after learning about the ketamine-assisted and equestrian therapy work, modalities that speak directly to his interest in the connection between body and mind.
Outside of coursework, Jake has spent years teaching and writing about contemplative and mind-body practices and has co-authored a book on meditative techniques. He's looking forward to learning directly from the clinical team at Thoughtful Counseling Group, building his skills in direct client work, and growing into a therapist who can meet people where they are; physically, mentally, and emotionally.
