About Jessica Elkins
As a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate, Jessica Elkins (she/her) enjoys helping people heal from past trauma, learn to understand themselves at a deeper level, navigate life changes, and curiously explore shifting senses of identity. She utilizes an integrative, person-centered approach, getting to know her clients and their values before bringing in bits and pieces of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and somatic/mindfulness therapy (among others) to assist in healing.
Jessica believes that there is no “one-size-fits-all” in therapy, so she tailors her approach to every client she sees to ensure they get the support they need. As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, Jessica is passionate about helping other people in the community, and also really enjoys working with older adults and helping them thrive in their golden years.
Jessica received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Bastyr University and holds a Bachelors in Psychology and Bachelors in Social Sciences from Portland State University as well.
