Thoughtful Counseling Group
Julie Easley received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Sociology at Seattle Pacific University. Prior to my educational pursuit in mental health counseling, I worked for 16 years with victims of commercial sexual exploitation, trafficking, and crisis intervention. This opportunity taught me the significance of unconditional care, respect, and meeting individuals right where they are at.
In Julie’s role as director of a youth shelter, outreach program and drop-in center in Pierce County, she specialized in working with 13 – 25-year-olds who were experiencing suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, anxiety, homelessness, substance abuse disorders, and trauma. Julie has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Julie loves working with every stage of life, but especially teenagers and young adults. She has an advocate’s heart and cares deeply that every individual feels seen, heard, cared for, and supported in their journey to healing and wholeness.
