About Linda Brooks
Linda believes each of us has an incredible capacity for growth and resilience. Sometimes life, relationships, anxiety, or years of putting everyone else first can make it difficult to recognize your own strength. Therapy offers a space to reconnect with who you are, understand what has been holding you back, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and fulfilling.
Linda's practice is centered on women navigating life's transitions, including relationship challenges, divorce, identity exploration, self-esteem, anxiety, career changes, and building a life that truly reflects who they are. She also enjoys working with older adolescents (ages 16+) as they navigate identity, relationships, independence, and the important decisions that shape adulthood. Linda welcomes couples, lesbian, gay, and bisexual clients, offering an affirming, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that lasting change rarely happens all at once. More often, it begins with a single step: a new insight, an honest conversation, or the courage to try something different.
Linda is completing her Master of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lamar University and my internship with Thoughtful Counseling Group. She plans to continue with TCG as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA).
If you're ready to take that first step, Linda would be honored to walk alongside you.
One step changes everything.
