About Robbi Robertson
Robbi is experienced working with individuals (adolescents and adults) who are navigating: trauma (sexual, physical, and emotional), domestic intimate partner abuse, suicidal thoughts, grief and loss, low self-esteem, family relationships, medical diagnoses/health concerns impacting mental health & well-being. She has also done extensive work with veterans both individually and in group settings navigating Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and PTSD. In her work Robbi uses a combination of modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, General Biofeedback as well as somatic psychotherapies including trauma-informed Yoga, Mindfulness, and Expressive Art Therapy. She provides telehealth and in-person therapy.
Robbi Robertson received her master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University of Kalamazoo in 1998. As a clinical social worker, she has over 25 years of experience in providing psychotherapy for individuals coping with various behavioral health conditions to include Anxiety, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar Spectrum Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Adjustment Disorder as well as medical conditions that affect mood and coping abilities. She also developed the Women’s Trauma Recovery Group where they treated women in the military who had suffered Military Sexual Trauma (MST) as well as a similar program for male soldiers.
