About Susan Campion
Susan Campion is completing her Master of Social Work through the University of West Florida and brings decades of practice across child welfare, addiction counseling, and community mental health to her work with clients. She spent years as a child welfare social worker with Hennepin County and later ran an intensive outpatient program for problem gambling at MHealth Fairview. She has facilitated outpatient groups, supervised counseling staff, and served on the Minnesota Advisory Council on Problem Gambling. Susan holds a Minnesota License in Alcohol and Drug Counseling (LADC) and International Certified Problem Gambling Counselor – II (ICGC-II) and is trained to work with individuals facing addiction, trauma, family disruption, and the kind of long-term stress that comes from navigating systems that are not always built to help people through them. She also holds a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Capella University, which shapes how she thinks about the broader structures her clients are up against, not just the individual moment they are in.
